Curriculum

Our Curriculum Overview

At Abide Christian Academy, our curriculum is where we truly shine. We believe a world-class education is built on a Christ-centered curriculum that saves you the time and stress of planning. To ensure a consistent and enriching experience, Abide provides the full core curriculum for all grade levels.

For PK–4th grade, this curriculum is used during campus learning. Families are welcome to add additional materials at home if they choose, and for those who want more support, we map out a few curriculums for you to follow on home days.

For 5th–11th grade, the provided curriculum encompasses Bible, math, literature, writing, history, and science, along with all necessary literature books and instructional materials for both Hybrid and Private School students. Teachers guide students through instruction, discussion, and key concepts during campus days, while students continue reading, writing, and assigned coursework at home.

Below is a brief overview of the depth and breadth of our curriculum. Please contact us with any specific questions or to schedule an informational session. We would love to dive deeper and help you decide which of our educational models is the perfect fit for your family.

Bible Studies

At Abide Christian Academy, we provide age-appropriate Bible lessons designed to help children develop an understanding and appreciation of God's Word. Our Elementary grade-level students will explore the basics of the Bible together, while our Middle School students will delve deeper into their own lessons. Our goal is for each student to gain a greater understanding of Scripture and to build a strong foundation for their faith.

Language Arts

Our comprehensive Language Arts and Literature Curriculum is tailored to each grade level. We use a tried-and-true curriculum during campus instruction that focuses on building strong reading comprehension, vocabulary, and a deep love for quality literature.

Mathematics

Mathematics is an essential part of any education. Our math instruction focuses on the mastery of core concepts and is taught through hands-on, practical learning experiences to help students build strong mathematical understanding.

History

Our bible-based history curriculum teaches students the fundamental truth that God is in control throughout history. By weaving this concept into every grade level, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the events, people, and periods of American and World History. Our curriculum also encourages students to consider how faith can influence their understanding of the past and their place in the present.

Science

Our Bible-based science curriculum explores the idea that God designed and ordered the way our world works. Each grade level dives deep into this concept with engaging readings, interactive lessons, and hands-on experiments both in the classroom and at home. Students will gain a greater understanding and appreciation of God's handiwork in the world and uncover the fascinating truths of science.
